Show Time Now Ready

I got home around 5pm from Rexton, had supper & then over to the boat shed to help finish hanging the small quilts. All the large ones were hung while I was having my fun day in Rexton!
Do you remember the boat shed - Tada ! A quilt show evolved!

Cecil & her husband Neil rest after a full day of hanging large quilts up.

Ted hung quilts up high on the overhead door,  as we ran out of room to place them!

It was like hanging laundry on the outer walls. lol

Elizabeth & Ted having a chat at the shed opening, the show is now ready! With just a few more touches needed.

 Rows & rows of quilts...

Winter at the end wall to cool you off!

Sale items on the table, all beautifully made by Betty, Bev, & Phyllis.

 Such an array of talent...

 Row after row..
This one was called 'My Grandsons Madness' she made it from his shirts!

Neat hanging laundry...without the breeze & that's a good thing. lol
This Trip Around the World sold to a woman visiting from Alberta, what a work of art she purchased.

Rows of flying geese & poises, nice work Ursula!

The baby quilts added an awe, so sweet area.

 Creativity was everywhere!
Two toned quilts are one of my favourites, this one was dimensional but the photo doesn't do it justice, nice work Crystal!

Mary Beth, here's your Bargello! she purchased it to satisfy her purple passion. lol

Cindy's Country Cottages are so sweet, look at the Scotties! She breeds Scotties so they're near & dear to her & are in every BOM! So sweet.

Rows of large quilts, this was the 'Thimbleberries' area
 This was the 'Sampler' area

Oh the Grandmothers Garden, & the petals were fussy cut too!!

 Hangers & table runners.

So now, the show will run for two days & then 'tear down' sounds so violent, lol & Ted gets his boat shed back! Today is the last day & I'll get some photos of 'Jean's Tea Room' & oh my... the desserts, you'll salivate just looking. ;-)

Hope you enjoyed the preview of the show!
