The fall skies are the bluest skies I've ever seen.
This is the farthest northeast point of our area & is a rugged trip to get there down a small bumpy dirt road. With the weather being dry the trip was not that bad for us. And the view was gorgeous!
Our Thanksgiving Day photo of all of us at the Escuminac Lighthouse.
The tide was out & everyone scattered down to have a walk by the water.
The viewing of what was left behind was curious for those watchers before the tide would come back in to claim it.
Nick was enjoying his new Canon camera with Leslie & taking photos of the outing too.
Mitch & Nicole enjoyed the shoreline stroll & were curious lookers too.
Bill had to stroll on his own as I don't do water things well with being hydrophobic but I do enjoy looking at it & my family enjoyed it!
The waves were not strong & the sun was so bright giving a beautiful clear day.
Bill really enjoys being home, even if it is for a short time before he goes away for work again.
I enjoyed that day & had so much to be thankful for!
This view excited me as I thought of what the 'Group of Seven' felt as they viewed & painted images like this! Canada has so much to offer to the eyes to feast upon!
Bill & I gasped at this site as it brought back memories of our England trips on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Just gorgeous viewing wherever you looked!
The warm vibrant colours of fall were enhanced by the green evergreens!
Even at your feet were natures little surprises for viewing.
It was a beautiful day here & now it is wet with hurricane Michael's remnants but we all have these memories etched in our minds. Mitch & Nicole scrapped snow & ice off their truck in Calgary on Wednesday, what a change in weather for them. Nick & Leslie landed in Toronto to 29C weather, Canada sure knows how to mix it up! Bill will be going to Spain & I will remain here in this beautiful province.
Thank you for stopping in for a viewing of Thanksgiving Day. I'm thankful to have a wonderful family, friends & good health.
Wishing you health & happiness.
Later today is the photo shoot of the Eel River Apartment... I'll post when it's done, tonight or tomorrow.
